Ja, I put both my music and advertising degrees to good use when I recorded this jingle auf Deutsch for a Swiss ski brand. Unfortunately, the commercial never aired, but you can still hear the song, which I’ve set to a slideshow of all things Swiss. Apparently, Wann wird’s mal wieder richtig Sommer, (which is what the jingle was based on) is a popular song made famous in Switzerland by Rudi Carrell. Most Swiss don’t realize it was originally an American song. Recognize it?
